Relevant territorial waters

Relevant territorial waters. These are waters that extend three nautical miles seaward from base lines from which the breadth of the territorial sea is measured. 

Collect all available information on quality of surfece water near to site. Evaluate available data against Canadian Water Quality Guidelines (select appropriate guidelines based on local water use, e.g., recreational, irrigation, freshwater aquatic life, etc.) and relevant provincial/ territorial water quality objectives. 

EU Member States must transpose the Drinking Water Directive into their own national legislation. The Member States can include additional requirements, e.g., regulate additional substances that are relevant within their territory or set higher standards. But Member States are not allowed to set lower standards as the level of protection of human health should be the same within the whole EU. 

By the analysis of Table 7, we can see that Coimbra is the municipality that has a town with the lowest level in terms of capability support, due to its low score in factor 1 - water system performance. In Table 8 we can observe that Coimbra presents a deep territorial contrast in terms of capability support, in opposition with Fundao, and Proenpa-a-Novamunicipalities. The results of the Almeida municipality stress the relevant capability support in five towns, deriving from its high score in factor 1.
