Relative supersaturated pressure crystallization rate

As may be seen Figures 4, 5 and 6, the crystallization rate increased with relative supersaturated pressure, and the power number of the correlative lines between these two variables were cdmost as shown 1 Equaticxi 2.

As discussed before, the flow rate of drug solution and supercritical fluid is also an important factor governing the crystal form produced because of its relation to the rate at which the supersaturation level builds up in the crystallization vessel. However, the significance of this factor in crystal form control is often not realized in SFC studies owing to the relative dominance of other major operating factors involved such as temperature and pressure.
