Receptor for mycoplasma

The nature of mycoplasma receptor sites on erythrocytes or other mammalian cells has not been extensively investigated. Of seventeen mycoplasma serotypes investigated, four bind to putative sialic acid receptors (Manchee and Taylor-Robinson, 1969).
