RATIONALE FOR DELIVERY SYSTEM USING POLYMER ASSEMBLIES 

Before introducing the recent studies of polymeric delivery systems using polymer assemblies, it might be helpful to review some general concepts about block copolymers and polymer assemblies in order to get a better imderstanding of their current approaches and achievements in the drug delivery system (DDS) field.

Poljnner assemblies distribute in the body depending on their physicochemical properties. This means that we can guide the polymer assemblies to a specific site in the body by changing their physicochemical properties, and we call this process targeting.
