Pulsed electroreduction

Influence of anions on the production efficiency in pulsed electroreduction of CO2 on metal and alloy electrodes... [Pg.573]

Nanoparticle monolayers and multilayers can also be prepared directly by electrochemistry without performation of the nanoparticles. For example, Ag nanoparticles monolayer can be formed by Ag grafted on 4-aminophenyl monolayer on highly oriented pyrolytic graphite followed by pulse electroreduction, and then the uniformly dispersed Ag nanoparticles as ordered monolayers are prepared. By a similar design Pd and Pt ordered monolayers can also be fabricated. For Pt (or Pd) nanoparticle ordered multilayers, they can be assembled with PtCl (or PdCl4 ) and CoTMPyP alternatively followed by electroreduction. The Pt or Pd nanoparticle ordered multilayers formed on the electrode surface demonstrate high catalytic activity to O2 and H2O2 reduction. [Pg.4384]

Reisse used activated zinc for aqueous Barbier-type reactions.66 Submicromic zinc powder produced by pulsed sono-electroreduction is about three times more effective than the commercial variety. The stereochemical course of the allylation and propargylation of several aldehydes with crotyl and propenyl halides using zinc powder as the... [Pg.227]

The Ni1 complexes may exist in different isomeric forms, and the form obtained may depend upon whether pulse radiolysis of electroreduction are employed to synthesize them.2323 Usually, isomeric integrity of tmc nickel complexes is not maintained upon going from Ni11 to Ni1 ... [Pg.483]

The quasi-reversihle electroreduction processes of Zn(II) in the absence and in the presence of Ai,Ai -dimethylthiourea (DMTU) were quantitatively compared by Sanecld [91], It has been shown that in the presence of DMTU enhanced response of cyclic voltammetry and normal pulse polarography was complex and could be resolved into its regular reduction part and a part caused by the catalytic influence of adsorption of organic substance. [Pg.736]

The possibilities of electrochemical pulse methods, especially of DPP, have been successfully tested on the reaction sequence in the electroreduction of nicotinic acid [112] and on the CEC mechanism in the electroreduction of several a-dicarbonyl compounds (such as gly-oxal) [113]. [Pg.214]
