Prostaglandin ethanolamides, structures

FIGURE 8.10 Structures of the prostaglandin ethanolamides. These novel molecules are products of the action of COX-2 on anandamide. Hydrolysis of the amide bond would give rise to a classical prostaglandin that would then result in a number of actions attributed to these compounds.
