Promoters first appreciation

Spectra of type III are shown in Fig. 7. In all four cases these materials are metallic phases, having metallic luster and conductivity. Their spectra have an appreciable absorption coefficient at 0 ev., which may correspond to electrons being promoted to the Fermi level in the conduction band and very low amplitude of fine structure, i.e., relatively flat absorption plateaus. The low amplitude may be attributed to relatively low electrostatic field strength in the first coordination sphere, to be expected in these electronic... 

There are a few complications to this simple picture. First it has been assumed the conduction band is normally empty of electrons. This is never entirely true, and for many semiconductor materials used in photoconductive devices with reasonably large values of Aj, it is not even approximately true. Where kT is an appreciable fraction of AEg there will be significant thermal promotion of electrons into the conduction band, and a consequently high detector dark current. For this reason, many photoconductive detectors are cooled, often using thermo-electric devices (for easy packaging) in order to reduce kT, and hence the dark current. 

For earliest color, transplant or seed in full sun. In hot climates plants appreciate some afternoon shade. While calendulas tolerate poor soil, they prefer average soil and must have good drainage. Water regularly, keeping soil slightly moist. When first buds appear, pineh back the main stem to promote maximum flowering. In adverse conditions, such as excess heat, calendulas may still flower, but stems will be shorter. 

Fourth, complete dissociation is promoted by the proteolytic inactivation of the activated cofactor proteins by activated protein C. Proteolytic inactivation of the activated cofactors ensures that reformation of the activation complex does not occur to any appreciable extent. Because the system is dynamic, all of these processes occur simultaneously. However, in the initial stages of the secondary hemostatic response, the first two steps predominate. As the hemostatic plug becomes consolidated by fibrin reinforcement, the third and fourth steps predominate.
