Process simulation—steady state calculation order

For this simulation we took again the model as was used for the previous calculations of the steady state adenine nucleotides, namely, oxidative phosphorylation with an attached load plus the adenylate kinase reaction. In order to avoid calculating the whole transient process, steady state flow and MITReM conditions are calculated first. From this situation on the simulation of time dependent bubble evolution is started. A two-way interaction between bubbles and flow is considered. This means that the combined effect of the influence of the fluid flow on the bubble trajectories and the effect of the bubble movement on the fluid flow is taken into account. In figure 4 simulated situations at several time steps are shown. The mean flow is 0.2 m/s. The cathode is on the right. 

For steady-state simulations, several solution methods have been used. The one most frequently used is the sequential approach. In this method, numerical modules are used that calculate the output stream of a process unit from the input streams coupled with any additional information that is required to uniquely define the performance of the process unit.
