Problems with PCA Delivery

Other problems that can occur with PCA systems include errors on the part of the operator (nurse, physician, etc.) or the patient, and mechanical problems with the pump-delivery system.18 These problems are summarized in Table 17-3. Operator errors typically occur because the pump is not programmed correctly
