Pressure effect on yield

The resulting correlation gives an excellent fit to pyrolysis data. Typical examples for n-heptane pyrolysis are shown in Figures 7 and 8. Figure 7 compares model predictions with data for several components over a wide range of cracking severities. The ability of the model to reflect the different profile shapes is readily apparent. Figure 8 shows ethylene yield selectivities. As can be seen, the model accurately captures the temperature and pressure effects on yield selectivity. [Pg.149]
