CioHgC NOiS. A protective non-systemic fungicide used principally for the control of potato blight. M.p. 160-161 C. It is relatively non-toxic to most animal life although it is harmful to hsh. 

Mepronil is a systemic fungicide to control diseases caused by Basidiomycetes in cereals, rice, potatoes, vegetables, etc. 

Maneb 486 (Figure 25) is an ethylene bis-dithiocarbamate (EBDC) fungicide used in agriculture for the control of early and late blights in potatoes and tomatoes, as well as many other diseases in fruits, vegetables, field crops, and... 

Chlorothalonil, a chlorophenyl introduced in the mid-1960s, is a major protectant fungicide. It is used alone or in mixtures to control Septoria spp. in cereals, Phytophthora infestans in potatoes and Botrytis spp. in vegetables. 

The major crops for agrochemical use are cotton, rice, maize, vegetables and top fruit for insecticides small grain cereals, rice, vines and top fruit for fungicides, and maize, soybeans, small grain cereals, rice, industrial weed control, plantations and orchards for herbicides. Other crops that may be of interest include sugar beet, oil-seed rape, potatoes and citrus dependent upon your company s presence in these crops.
