Potassium nitrate molecular weight

The pharmacological treatment options for ACS include agents that either reduce oxygen demand (beta blockers) or increase oxygen supply (nitrates, potassium channel activators, calcium channel blockers) to the heart and antiplatelet (aspirin, ADP-receptor antagonists, GPIIb/llla receptor blockers) and antithrombin therapy (unfractionated heparin, low molecular weight heparin, direct thrombin inhibitors) (10). [Pg.119]

Additional tests with ammonium compounds were performed to address the effect of ammonium ion (see Fig. 8). It is clear that the catalyst inhibition was not based only on the presence of ammonium ion. Ammonium carbonate showed the largest inhibition of the glucose hydrogenation reaction, while chloride and hydroxide had lesser effects. Ammonium nitrate caused no apparent inhibition on glucose conversion. A similar lack of effect was shown with potassium nitrate. In the case of ammonium nitrate, the glucose conversion mechanism was affected, so that the sorbitol yield was reduced by about 20%, but numerous byproducts and overreaction products (lower molecular weight polyols) were evident. [Pg.816]

Molecular weight 211 63f colourless tesseral crystals, specific gravity 2 986 which is 1. times larger than that of potassium nitrate, and 1.2 times larger than that of potassium perchlorate. Thus the large density is one of the remarkable nature of strontium nitrate. It melts at... [Pg.98]

Potassium Nitrate Solution (a). From molecular weight of KN03, 101.103 g KN03 contain 14.0067 gN. [Pg.92]

Discussion. Very pure silver can be obtained commercially, and a standard solution can be prepared by dissolving a known weight (say, 10.787 g) in nitric acid in a conical flask having a funnel in the neck to prevent mechanical loss, and making up to a known volume (say, 1 L for a 0.1 M solution). The presence of acid must, however, be avoided in determinations with potassium chromate as indicator or in determinations employing adsorption indicators. It is therefore preferable to employ a neutral solution prepared by dissolving silver nitrate (relative molecular mass, 169.87) in water. [Pg.348]
