Polymer in good solvent dilute solution polystyrene

POLYMER IN GOOD SOLVENT DILUTE SOLUTION (POLYSTYRENE) [Pg.731]

A dilute polymer solution is a good solution when the size of chain in solution is much greater than the size of the equivalent Brownian chain. On the other hand, we observe that in this case the osmotic pressure is higher than the Van t Hoff [Pg.731]

We shall start by establishing a correspondence between physical and theoretical parameters. Next, we shall study the intermediate regime (moderately long chains) and then the Kuhnian regime (very long chains) [Pg.732]
