Cool the glass slides to room temperature and coat them with 5% poly-L-lysine for 5 min Dry the slides overnight at room temperature or incubate them at 48°C before use. 

After storing the samples at each temperature for 1 week, they were rapidly thawed in a warm bath (at 310 K).
