The structures of the P3ATs, PPVs, CN-PPVs, PPEs, poly(3-hexyl thiophene ethynylenes) (P3HTE), poly-(/ -di ethynylene phenylene-p-di phenylene vinylene) (PDEPDPV), and poly(p-phenylene ethynylene anilines) (PPEAs) are shown in Figure 7.2. The P3ATs were synthesized by Yoshino and co-workers [50], the PPVs by Wild] and co-workers [24], Holmes and coworkers [25,26], or Murase and co-workers [51], and the other polymers by Barton and co-workers [9,52,53].
