Polish Organizations for Biomedical Engineering Affiliated to IFMBE

There are two national organizations in Poland working in the area of biomedical engineering and affiliated to IFMBE [Pg.212]

Polish Scientific and Technical Committee for Biomedical Engineering of SEP [Pg.212]

The older one is the first organization based on specific expertise. The second organization represents a broader membership including a broader range of professions -technical, medical, and biological. [Pg.212]

The Committee cooperates with the International Centre of Biocybernetics (director - prof. M. Nalecz), the International Centre of Hearing and Speech (director -prof. H. Skarzynski), and with the Centre of Excellence on Management of Health and Environmental Hazards (director - dr M. Borysiewicz). The collaboration has resulted in several conferences, seminars, symposia and international workshops. [Pg.213]
