Plug gauges

Further study showed that adsorption isotherms of BAC-n by using H20, hexane, and cyclohexane as plug gauge molecules were all of the I type. To illustrate these results, H2O adsorption isotherms of BAC-5, -3, and -10 compared with those of NaX, AIPO4-I7, and silicalite-1 are shown in Figure 4.2. 

The measuring methods used, for example to monitor O-rings, include optical CNC machines, mechanical scanning systems and plug gauges. 

NOT GO plug gauges should not enter the hole when applied by hand without using excessive force. 

For checking internal threads, e.g. nuts, a double-ended screw plug gauge. Fig. 5.13 may be used. This gauge has a GO end which checks... 

Taper gauges are used to check the male and female features of tapered workpieces. A taper ring gauge is used to check the male work-piece feature, i.e. a shaft while a taper plug gauge is used to check the female workpiece feature, i.e. a hole - Fig. 5.15. 

By means of a sketch show the GO and NOT GO arrangement of a taper plug gauge.
