Maples (1993) derived similar correlations based on conunercial and pilot plants at typical operating conditions. The database corresponds to straight-run residues with API gravity and CCR content ranging from 1.4 and 2.5 and 2.84 and 25.5 wt%, respectively. Linear plots to determine product yields in weight percent were reported, from which the following correlations were obtained.
