Plasticizers in drinking water

Two plasticizers di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate and di-(2-etlylhexyl) adipate were included by EPA in a group of Specified Organic Chemical, presence of which is tested by local authorities. Maximum Contaminant Level, MCL, established by EPA is 6 pg/1 for di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, DOP, and 400 pg/l for di-(2-ethylhexyl) adipate.
