Plasticizers dextrin

In the following year, Silberstein published details of the preparation of an 0-(sodium thiolthiocarbonyl) derivative of dextrin, using aqueous sodium hydroxide and carbon disulfide. Preliminary attempts to incorporate the product into plastics based on urea, formaldehyde, or glyceritol were described.
