Plasma echelle system

Handbook of Spectral Line Characteristics for the DC Plasma/Echelle Systems, Spectrametrlcs Inc. 1982. [Pg.132]

Detection limits achieved for a number of elements are compared with those from the ARL Beckman DC plasma echelle system in Table 4.2 [50]. Clearly, the detection limits are very comparable. The detection... [Pg.90]

The measurements were performed using a Thermo Elemental IRIS Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometer (ICP-AES). A 2 kW crystal-controlled radio frequency (RF) generator operating at 27.12 MHz powers the plasma source. An Echelle optical system with a 381-mm focal length diffracts the light from the plasma source before it is focused onto the Charge Injected Device (CID) camera detector [4]. [Pg.26]

Photodiode arrays (PDAs) A spectrally segmented PDA spectrophotometer has also been developed. Radiation from the plasma is predispersed and transmitted through an optical mask prior to dispersion by an echelle grating onto a PDA. Limits of detection are similar to those obtained by conventional detection systems, except at low wavelengths where degradation has been observed. [Pg.208]
