Pipeline pilot programs

Now Accerlys Inc. has discounted a development and support of Insight II. Funetionahty of this software is transferred to Discovery Studio and Pipeline Pilot program suites. 

Like the similarity protocol, the user interface for the Pipeline Pilot SSS protocol supports multiple databases and multiple probes in a single query. The input of the probe molecule(s) is accomplished using a SD file, which can be generated in most standard chemical drawing programs. This file is supplied as one of the inputs in the SSS interface. The use of identification numbers is not as applicable here as it is in the case of the similarity protocol since we are most likely not using existing molecules as substructures. Consequently, textbox input is not an option nor is the upload of a list of numbers in CSV or Excel format. 

Raw screening data from the plate reader and files mapping library wells to compound identity are loaded into KNIME for data transformation and analysis. These steps can be done manually in a spreadsheet program snch as Excel, but using KNIME (or other similar programs, snch as Pipeline Pilot) is more rapid for larger screens with less chance for human error. 

As a pilot in this research were served karst massifs of Permsky kray (Russia), which localized within the town of Kungur, urban settlement of Polazna, settlement of Oktyabrsky and a site of pipeline route near the settlement of Krasny Yasil (Fig. 1). These territories located within the areas of development of carbonate-sulfate karst. Natural conditions of karstification at this site were active studied over the last 50-60 years. During this period accumulated extensive material, which was partially analyzed and systematized in the course of 5-year research program Monitoring of karstic areas of Permsky krai (2006-2010).
