Coloring and Decorating. Commercial pigments that are thermally stable at the resin processing temperature maybe used. Pigments maybe dry-blended with the resin, or ETFE pellets may be blended with color concentrates, which are available ia pellet form. 

K2CO3 (from KOH and CO2), used chiefly in high-quality decorative glassware, in optical lenses, colour TV lubes and fluorescent lamps il is also used in china ware, textile dyes and pigments. 

This is a one step economical process for selectively transferring a high quality image to a plastic product. A heated die transfers the pattern from selected transfer tape to a flat plastic surface. Lettering or decorative designs can be transferred in pigmented, wood grain, or metallic finishes. 

Unlike phenol-formaldehyde polymers, the amino resins are not themselves deeply coloured, but are of a naturally light appearance. They can be easily pigmented to give a variety of shades, which leads to application in uses where good appearance is highly valued, for example in decorative tableware, laminated resins for furniture, and modem white electrical plugs and sockets.
