Physicochemical Data of Pure Substances

The layout shown in Table 3.3-1 has proved useful as a model for the collection of pure-substance data. Only data which has been reliably evaluated is kept in the files, and these are the only values fed into the simulation programs. At the start of process development, the first step is to collect all available literature data on a material [Ull-mann 3]. Dividing the data into physicochemical data, ecotoxicological data, and safety data, as in Table 3.3-1, has proved useful. [Pg.264]
