Faller et a/.400 have investigated the conformational equilibria of a series of phosphine complexes of the type [MX(CO)2L(i75-Cp or Indenyl)] by NMR spectroscopy. Photolysis of [MX(CO)2(PPh3)Cp] (M = Mo, W) at 366 nm in benzene undergo cis-trans isomerization and disproportionation to the complexes [MX(CO)3Cp] and [MX(CO)(PPh3)2Cp].401 The low-temperature (12 K) photochemistry of phosphorus donor ligand complexes of the type [MX(CO)2LCp] has been investigated.402...

The reliable prediction of redox potentials as a function of composition is useful in the synthetic design and application of technetium and other transition metal complexes.
