Phase purity effect

In this study LSGM synthesis was conducted via various organic precursor methods. Effects of different carrier materials on phase purity and crystallization behavior were investigated. [Pg.150]

In subsequent metal oxide synthesis experiments, the relationship between cavitation numbers and Reynolds numbers to synthesis results, such as crystallographic strain, primary grain size, agglomerate size, or phase purity, was examined to develop an understanding of the effects of different bubble dynamics on crystal properties. [Pg.27]

Besides the molar gel composition (what is an obvious factor of influence), a strong effect on phase purity of crystallization product and its crystallinity is attributed to the origin of the reagents used in synthesis of SAPO materials. We have found that DiPenA template is very selective in SAPO-31 formation for the case of both aluminum isopropoxide and Reheis F2000 alumina hydroxycarbonate as a source of alumina as well as for different kinds of silica sources. In Table 3 catalytic properties of SAPO-31 prepared with different reagents are presented. [Pg.901]

Glycothermal synthesis seems to be very attractive method for catalytic materials preparation, especially when microwave heating was applied. Research cany on this field indicate on many advantages of this method as short synthesis time, phase purity with better yield, homogeneity and high reproducibility [1-3], Various glycols may be used as reaction medium, and different reaction parameters (temperature, pressure, time, and others) can be applied what has influence on the properties of obtained materials [4], As a result, it provides direct and effective one step route to prepare nanomaterials of well-controlled properties, which can be used as catalyst or catalyst support... [Pg.675]

Membrane Pervaporation Since 1987, membrane pei vapora-tion has become widely accepted in the CPI as an effective means of separation and recovery of liquid-phase process streams. It is most commonly used to dehydrate hquid hydrocarbons to yield a high-purity ethanol, isopropanol, and ethylene glycol product. The method basically consists of a selec tively-permeable membrane layer separating a liquid feed stream and a gas phase permeate stream as shown in Fig. 25-19. The permeation rate and selectivity is governed bv the physicochemical composition of the membrane. Pei vaporation differs From reverse osmosis systems in that the permeate rate is not a function of osmotic pressure, since the permeate is maintained at saturation pressure (Ref. 24). [Pg.2194]
