Personae

Personen-. of or for persona, passenger, personlich, a. personal subjective. 

I made major improvements under this doctor s care. So much so that two and a half years later, when we were moving to Indiana, I really thought I could develop a new persona in Indiana, that I was healed and could live a normal life. 

The tower stands upon a promontory within the inner kingdom, the hill of power. Psychologically, this represents the most developed personality complex (persona, Latin for mask ) in the individual. It is the personality that undergoes the serious redevelopment, the rebuilding, that this and any other spiritual discipline involves. One cannot become an adept and remain the same. 

For systems devoid of nondynamical correlation effects, this is the largest individual contribution to the molecular binding energy. Its basis set convergence is relatively rapid, yet our discussion will be disproportionately long because a number of the dramatis personae that reappear in the remainder of the story need to be introduced here.

In a similar vein, a person s signature reveals their ego in a more publie venue. Beeause people are aware their signatures will be judged as an extension of themselves, people often "doctor up" their signatures trying to make some kind of statement. It is for this reason that I rarely rely on just a signature alone to make an accurate assessment about a celebrity. Our public persona is usually a bit different than our private persona. 

Violetta laughed lovingly and blessed me with Helen s dark-eyed smile. But I think the Popess hump is more likely to be the abbess than the nun. If the old dragon as much as suspects what sort of woman I am, she will have me mn out of town. Helen is the loveliest of Violetta s personas, not the smartest. 

I had uncovered a new Violetta persona. Between us, Luigi and I forced the Queen of the Amazons into a chair, where she continued to simmer, still snarling and spitting.

Personality is but the character in which the One Life is playing a, certain part. As we have said in The Arcane Lesson, the very word "person is derived from Hie Greek word persona, meaning mask used by acton."... 

Comorbid persona//fy cf/sorcfe/ (e.g., borderline, narcissistic, histrionic)... 

Not engaged in a constant battle to preserve their persona intact -pride does not block them from changing... 

It is possible that one particular archetype dominates our behaviour. If so, our persona may be so wrapped up in it that our repertoire of responses to varying situations is blinkered and limited. The greater risk from these stereotypes, however, lies not so much in falling into their patterns, but by not being aware that one is doing so, and being blindly attached to that style of behaving. But normally we all from time to time play most of these archetypal characters.
