Pentyl acetate flash point

ACETIC ACID, 2-PENTYL ESTER (626-38-0) Forms explosive mixture with air (flash point 89°F/32°C). High heat may lead to instability. Reacts with strong oxidizers. Incompatible with strong acids, nitrates, strong alkalis. Attacks many plastics. [Pg.12]

METHYL-2-PENTYL ACETATE (108-84-9) Forms explosive mixture with air (flash point 113°F/45°C). Violent reaction with strong oxidizers. Incompatible with sulfuric acid, nitric acid, caustics, aliphatic amines, isocyanates. Will swell rubber, and can dissolve certain coatings. [Pg.796]
