PDL Resistance Rating

Records can quickly be grouped by generic family, exposure medium or trade name and grade. In addition, records can be searched, sorted and displayed by exposure temperature, exposure time, exposure medium concentration, and supplier or using the PDL resistance rating. Complete information can then be viewed on any individual record. [Pg.596]

The information presented in Section One is recompiled and condensed in Section Two. Section Two provides an easy to use overview of how different thermoplastics are influenced by a specific exposure environment. Using the PDL Resistance Rating, the user can quickly determine which thermoplastics may or may not be suitable for use with a reagent. Users are then referred to Section One for more detailed information. [Pg.3]

The PDL Resistance Rating is determined using a weighted value scale developed by PDL and reviewed by experts. Each of the ratings is calculated from test results provided for a material after exposure to a specific environment. It gives a general indication of a material s resistance to a specific environment. In addition, it allows the user to search for materials most likely to be resistant to a specific exposure medium. [Pg.4]

Note Numbers refer to PDL Resistance Ratings (0-9 scale with 9 as highest resistance.)... [Pg.938]
