Patent Assignees and Inventors

The search for inventors and patent assignees in the fields Author (AU) and Corporate Source (CS) is described in Sects. 7.3.3.1 and 7.3.3.2. 

In the field Author (AU) authors and inventors are retrieved. When a search is restricted to the field Inventor (IN), only the inventors themselves can be found. The same is true for the field Corporate Source (CS) It contains names of companies, institutions and patent assignees, the field Patent Assignee (PA) contains only patent assignees.
