Paradigm shifts for teamwork

Learning to work effectively as a team takes patience. Teamwork calls for different approaches to work from those most of us are used to. By understanding these differences, we can appreciafe the various barriers to high-performance teamwork. Sometimes, policies or procedures get in the way, and we can modify them to remove a teamwork barrier. Often, however, the best we can do is change our perspective or expectancy regarding teamwork and, then, adjust our behavior accordingly. [Pg.388]
