Paper tape gas detectors

If the calibration standard is affected by external factors (for example, variations in output from a gas diffusion tube caused by temperature changes), it may not have the required or assumed concentration value when calibrating the actual gas detection instmment. The measured target gas concentration must be questioned if the detection technique does not produce repeatable results.
