The Laboratory of Physical and Chemical Properties of the Solid Electrolytes (shortly known as the Laboratory of Electrolytes) was one of the first laboratories established at the Electrochemistry Instimte in 1958. Pal guyev was the first head of the laboratory and was in charge of the solid electrolyte research until 1987.
