Origin and Nature of Agglomerates

The bonds between primary particles may be classified by the medium through which the linkage is made

Solid bridges can also be formed during calcination, as a result of local sintering. Agglomerates formed before calcination will become harder after this steige. In this respect the temperature and duration of calcination Is critical. 

Therefore, there are only three possible alternatives to avoid the presence of aggregates in ceramic powders
