Organolead Salts or Esters of Oxygen Acids

This chapter comprises organolead derivatives of mineral acids. Included are compounds derived from acids having an oxo or hydroxy group substituted by fluor or an organic group. The compounds summarized in Table 28 + are prepared by methods from the following scheme.

Addn Compd. Me2Pb(0104)2 2Py from Me2Pb (0104)2 0SMe2 with Py in HCCI3, prismatic cryst., m. 115 far IR spectrum and assignment (I896) 

By rxn. of Et4Pb with SO2 in Et20 at 0 , in low yield (IO83).
