Open-ended questions in sensory testing practice

Researchers should consider all the pros and cons of the entire procedure in order to make an informed decision about the choice of methodology. Next, these will be discussed while more specific issues are brought up as different case studies are presented throughout the chapter. And, existing out there are a number of similar questions/methods that share some of the benefits. In which specific situations do open-ended questions such as win the battle, provide insights that no other method could These situations will be described. 

The sections that follow will explain the steps to be followed when using open-ended questions from the insttuctions given and the collection of responses, through pre-processing the data, to its analysis and interpretation. At each of these stages, the particular features to consider for their potential applications will be highlighted.
