On more general copolymer models and the Brownian scaling

1 On more general copolymer models and the Brownian scaling [Pg.142]

The idea of the proof of Theorem 6.7 and of Theorem 6.8 is rather intuitive. It is what is often called a coarse graining argument, in the sense that one has to pass on a scale in which one looses some details of the walk and in which only the Brownian universal behavior is left. When the coupling A is small, the trajectories of the copolymer, at least locally, are modified little by the interaction with the environment. The typical trajectories of the simple random walk are made up of very long excursions this is of [Pg.142]
