Alternative base-labile protecting groups such as the 2-[4-nitrophenyl)sulfonyl]ethoxy-carbonyl (Nsc) group have been developed to face the problems arising with the Fmoc group. These are discussed in Section 2.1.1.1.1.4. [Pg.58]
