Nocardia argentinensis

Nargenicin (136) is an antibiotic isolated from Nocardia argentinensis. In the biosynthetic studies of nargenicin (136) a pentaketide precursor (133) was incorporated into 136 without modification of the stereochemistry and E-olefine via cis decaline system (135).
