Natural gas cyclohexane

Butadiene from a world scale olefin plant at 50c per pound is also derived from natural gas. Cyclohexane is assumed to be derived from 4.17 per gallon benzene and is priced at 70.4c per pound. 

Another gliding arc reformer was presented by Czemichowski et al. [541]. It was operated with natural gas, cyclohexane, heptane, toluene, gasoline, JP-8 and diesel fuel. Sulfur compounds were converted into hydrogen sulfide in the system and up to 4wt.% of sulfur did no affect the operability of the device. Only 2% of the fuel cell energy output was required for the plasma generation. Figure 7.28 shows a GlidArc reformer, which had a power equivalent of 7 kW and volume of 0.6 L. The plasma was...
