To gain strong commitment for the NIDDCP, the National Iodine Deficiency Disorders Control Board (NIDDCB) was established in 1991. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn kindly accepted the chair of the committee. Senior officials of ministries concerned (such as the Industry Ministry, Education Ministry) are members of this committee.
