The corrosion data for all grades except Carpenter 20Cb-3 stainless is reprinted from Corrosion Data Survey, 1974 Edition, published by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers. The corrosion rates for Carpenter 20Cb-3 stainless represent a composite of the NACE Corrosion Data Survey and more current data developed in Carpenter s Corrosion Laboratory. 

Comprehensive tables of materials susceptible to stress corrosion cracking in specific chemicals are given by Moore (1979). Moore s tables are taken from the corrosion data survey published by NACE (1974).

NACE The Corrosion Data Survey Handbook, has two sections metals and non-metals. There are more than 50000 points of data (Nelson method) on the performance of metallic and non-metallic construction materials in corrosive environments. 

The committee s questionnaire on mitigation of corrosion was released on March 10, 2009, for community input. Invitations were sent to key personnel at DOD, MTI, and LMI to distribute a link to the questionnaire. On April 1, 2009, the NACE Technical and Research Activities committee distributed the link to all members of NACE technical committees and the NACE Research committee. As of April 23,2009,172 respondents had started the survey, and 79 of them (45.9 percent) had completed the entire survey. The data gathered are summarized below. ... 

The EDCA process incorporates standard techniques for compiling historical information, pipehne and soil surveys, external pipeline inspections, and data einalysis. The procedure includes no new measurement techniques, but it does allow for the future addition of such techniques.
