Preparation of photocrosslinkable co- and terpolymers of N-isopropylacrylamide, 2-(dimethylmaleimido) N-ethylacrylamide as the photosensitive component, and 3-acryloylaminopropionic acid or N-(2-(dimethylaminoethyl)- acrylamide as ionizable comonomers was reported. Here too, crosslinking takes place through formation of cyclobutane moieties ... [Pg.217]

A N-isopropylacrylamide-bound hydroxamic acid copolymer 14 was prepared by the reaction of poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide)-co-(2-acryloxysuccinimide) with 6-amino-hexanhydroxamic acid [equation (14)] [115]. This water soluble copolymer after Fe uptake quantitatively separates from aqueous solution by heating. By Fe uptake of the copolymer the amount of Fe in an aqueous solution is reduced from 15.5 ppm to 116 ppb. [Pg.682]
