Mycophenolate mofetil dosage

Mycophenolate mofetil is usually administered in 500-mg doses four times a day the dosage can be increased up to 4 g/day. 

Mouth In four Japanese heart transplant recipients treated with everolimus, aphthous stomatitis necessitated dosage reductions in three and complete withdrawal in the other after a switch from mycophenolate mofetil [43 ]. Everolimus trough concentrations had not exceeded the target range at any time. They all recovered after dosage reduction or withdrawal. Aphthous stomatitis has been reported as an adverse reaction to sirolimus. 

Hematologic Agranulocytosis occurred in a 27-year-old female renal transplant recipient who took mycophenolate mofetil for 2 weeks, despite dosage reduction and the use of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) [86" ]. After a switch from mycophenolate mofetil to azathioprine, the neutrophil count normalized.
