Sucralfate Moxifloxacin

Administer oral doses of moxifloxacin at least 4 hours before or 8 hours after antacids containing magnesium or aluminum, sucralfate, metal cations such as iron, multivitamin preparations with zinc, or didanosine (chewable/buffered tablets or pediatric powder for oral solution). 

Drugs that contain sucralfate impair the absorption of moxifloxacin (26). 

Sucralfate causes a marked reduction in the absorption of ciprofloxacin, enoxacin, gemifloxacin, lomefloxacin, moxifloxacin, ofloxacin, norfloxacin and sparfloxacin, but only a modest reduction in fleroxacin levels. 

In 12 healthy subjects a total of five doses of sucralfate 1 g, given at the same time as a single 400-mg doseofmoxifloxacinandthenS, 10,15,and 24 hours after the dose, reduced the AUC and maximum serum concentration of moxifloxacin by 40% and 29%, respectively."...
