Monthly Review

As you know, the Task Force has spent the past five months reviewing the division s process safety management (PSM) systems as part of our company s corporate PSM initiative. We are pleased with our progress to date, and your support has enabled us to expedite the process ahead of expectations.

As a practical, regular routine, it is worth spending an hour or so every six months reviewing progress on your key job objectives, and highlighting the successes and not so successful elements. Analyse why tasks went well or not so well, paying particular attention to tasks where you relied on others for their achievement.

Jeste et ah (1993), in an ongoing prospective study, found that 26% of middle-aged and elderly patients developed TD after 12 months. Reviewing the literature on neuroleptic withdrawal, the authors found that almost 60 percent of the patients withdrawn from neuroleptics did not relapse over a mean period of 6 months. Russia. That book, however, had predicted a spontaneous development of capitalism in the countryside that had not occurred to anything like the extent he had forecast. One other source of books for Beddoes was reviewing. Between 1793 and 1801 he wrote reviews of over 160 titles for the Monthly Review.24 Sixteen of the titles he reviewed are French, among them 11 on chemical subjects 28 are German, 10 of those books are on chemistry 2 are Italian. Most of the French reviews are of journals the only French chemist to appear in these reviews is Fourcroy.25 There was a significant death-roll among French scientists in those years.26...
