Sadtler Research Laboratories (1980) Sadder Standard Spectra, 1980 Cumulative Index (Molecular Formula Index), Philadelphia, p. 275... [Pg.224]

Molecular Formula Index Lists compounds by molecular formula in the Hill Order (see Preface to this Handbook). [Pg.123]

The compilation is divided into two sections, the larger section (Appendix A) comprising those drug or drug-related pfCa values for which the measurements were sufficiently well described for the data to be assessed for reliability. These were almost entirely taken from the primary literature. The smaller section (Appendix B) comprised those pK values for which little reliability data could be assessed, and were mostly from the secondary literature. The compounds are listed alphabetically, largely by common, rather than systematic name. Users unfamiliar with common drug names can use the molecular formula index that follows the database. [Pg.43]

The chemist knows the product he wishes to make and must work backwards from there. Ife has various approaches open to him. Firstly, he can use conventional chemical information facilities su as Chemical Abstracts. Beginning with the product he wishes to make, he can examine the name and molecular formula indexes to find papers relevant to his product. By examining the abstract, he can find infoimation on whether the conpound was made by the author, and if so, how. He must, however, always look for a specific conpound and may involve himself in a very time-consimiing task. [Pg.218]

The Molecular Formula Index lists the molecular formula of all compounds in the First, Second and Third Supplements whether they occur as main Entry compounds or as derivatives. [Pg.513]
