If indeed the molecular era is drawing to a close, what is the appropriate label for the emerging era Several possibilities come to mind, including the cross-talk era, the genomic era, or the proteomic era. Only time will tell. My hope is that perhaps the emerging era will come to be known as the integrative/systems era...
