We aligned the top and bottom molds to each other using two 0.79 cm (5/16 in.) diameter dowel pins in each mold. These pins were inserted into reamed holes in the molds, and aligned holes in both of the thick die set plates. After putting both the molds and pins in place, we fastened screws between the molds and the die set plates to keep the molds connected to the die set during compression and release. [Pg.2523]
