This conclusion is confirmed by the generalized pliability curves (see Fig. 3.16) in the range of 298-353 K using a reduced temperature (T/Tq) relative to 298 K. The generalized pliability curves show that the value and the rate of creep of the epoxy polymer modified with 10% rubber are less than those of the initial polymer. For the specimen with 30% modifier, these parameters are much higher, especially at high levels of mechanical stress. 

Every effect has its own array of controls that are used to modify the parameters of the plug-in. These are discussed in detail later in the chapter. There are some general procedures that will allow you to effectively audition and modify effects. Effects can be modified as the project is playing back, which means that you can change the effects variables in real-time while you listen to the results. With the Audio Plug-In window open to the plug-in that you want to work on, click on the timeline (or press Alt-1-0 [zero]) to set the focus to the timeline and press Play. It is often useful to use a looped playback of a shorter section of a project to hear the results of an effect. While playback continues, go back to the Audio Plug-In window and modify the effect. 

Subject-Based Retrieval Parameters. There are numerous means by which the subject content of a patent can be expressed, and which a searcher can use in developing a search strategy. Different databases offer differing subsets of these means. Effective strategies should in general not be limited to a single type of retrieval parameter rather, they should be built from different parameters and modified as needed to provide the strategy best fitted to the subject at hand.
